Dorothy O'Brien founded Wide River Winery, LLC in 2005.
In its first year, the winery made 900 gallons of wine, mostly
from Missouri grapes in the fall of 2005. In 2006, 2700 gallons of wine was produced. 2007 marked another large increase in production, to just under
5000 gallons.

The vineyards at Wide River are certified organic. These
vineyards are relatively young and not yet in full production.

We are hard at work on some changes to the winery, including
adding a pergola and seating area to the south of the winery. We also plan
to add an awning and beautiful new sign on the front side of the building.

As the weather improves, guests are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy with
a glass of our wine.
